Timmer Willing enters his seventh year as an assistant coach for the Tritons in 2008-09. He graduated from Truman State University with a degree in Exercise Science and Health Education. Thereafter he took classes at the University of Indiana for Kinesiology. He also received a master's in Teaching-International Relations at the University of San Diego this year. Prior to coming to La Jolla to coach at UCSD, Willing assisted with the men's and women's tennis programs at Truman State, his alma mater, for two years. Additionally he worked as the Men's Assistant Coach at the University of Indiana for two years after that. During the time at Indiana University, he was a large part of the program which involved the host site of the Big Ten Championships, a first NCAA Qualifier for a doubles team at the NCAA Individual Championships for Indiana losing to eventual champions from Stanford. After leaving the University of Indiana he became the lead coach at the Weil Tennis Academy in Ojai, California. As the lead coach at the Weil Tennis Academy, Timmer was the coach and trainer for numerous tour players. His expertise in the sport have helped various players to win national championships and achieve national ranking.
Since he started working as the Men's Assistant Coach for UCSD, he has been a integral part of the coaching staff to constantly improve the level at which the players were performing and raise the bar for future players. Timmer has constantly shown great coaching skills by always having an attitude on the court that encouraged success and confidence. The Tritons have made great improvements in the past several years and were CCAA Champions for six consecutive years. Additionally they were NCAA quarterfinalists for three consecutive, making it as far as the final four in 2007. Timmer hopes to continue coaching tennis in the future to continue and help young individuals reach the highest potential they can.

Dylan Mann Dylan Mann, who recently graduated from UCSD's graduate program, has gained notable coaching experience while at both UCSD and University of Florida. He attended the University of Florida and was a member of the team while there. Soon after graduating he came on as the Assistant Men's Tennis Coach at U of F. After moving to California he continued to work as a tennis professional working at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club as an instructor. Later on he became the Assistant Men's Tennis Coach at UCSD. |

Kazumi, who graduated this year from UC San Diego, was a core part of the UCSD Men's Tennis Team for the 4 years he was on the team. He had a phenomenal record while playing for the Tritons during his years here. His sophomore year, he played in nearly every math for the Tritons and owned a 15-8 record. He was constantly showing improvement and moving up the ladder from doubles to singles every single year. Kazumi was able to play in many diverse situations by showing the ability to play with several different partners, though he had the most successes with his partner Eric Rubens with a record of 13-2. Katie Mulloy Katie Mulloy, who just finished her first year at UCSD and as a member of the Women's Tennis Team, is a central part of the team despite her young age. Over her high school career she was recognized three times as San Ramon Valley Times athlete of the month. Katie was a 3-time all-league and 3-time scholar athlete. She also led her team to a second place NCS finish in 2008 and CIF semi-finals the same year. Katie is now entering her second year as an undergraduate student at UCSD and another year on the Women's Tennis Team. |
Stella Kim Stella Kim is a 3rd year undergraduate student at UC San Diego. She is a political science major and hopes to go to business school. Though not part of the coaching staff, she is the office assistant to Head Coach Eric Steidlmayer. By keeping the tennis office organized, she is able to help keep the tennis team's running smoothly.
