UC San Diego Tennis Camps
Pre-Sectional Camp


Dates: Tuesday June 15 – Friday June 18, 2010
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm

This camp is tailored for advanced junior players looking to hone their games before the SCTA Junior Sectional Tournament.   Each player should expect to groove their strokes in the morning hours doing various feeding and live ball drills.  Light conditioning by our strength and conditioning coach off court will follow the drills.   Lunch will be provided on site, in two different shifts – so that there will be ample time and courts for match play. 

Players will rotate matches between fellow campers, camp staff and current members of the UC San Diego men's and women's intercollegiate tennis teams.  This will be done so that each player has a chance to play sets against those at a lower level, at about the same level and against players of a bit higher level.  By so doing, the players will enter the Sectional Tournament feeling confident about playing each level of player.
